Talks and Poster Presentations (without Proceedings-Entry):
"Smartphone Positioning with Signals-of-Opportunity";
Keynote Lecture: International Global Navigation Satellite Systems (IGNSS) 2020,
Sydney, Australia (invited);
With the increasing ubiquity of smartphones, users are now routinely carrying a variety of sensors with them wherever they go. These devices are enabling technologies for ubiquitous computing, facilitating continuous updates of a userīs context. They have built-in GNSS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cameras, MEMS-based inertial sensors, etc. Sensor fusion techniques are required to enable robust positioning and navigation in complex environments needed by consumer users, vehicles, and pedestrians. The talk aims to highlight current developments of localization technologies and techniques using smartphones.
