G. Navratil:
"Statistical Data Quality Descriptions and Concrete Questions";
Talk: Webinar Series by ISPRS TC IV: Advances and New Directions in Spatial Statistics, Teheran, Iran (invited); 2021-09-02.

English abstract:
Descriptions of spatial data quality are based on statistical measures. The user, however, is interested in the fitness for use. Is this data set suitable for the question? Different approaches like error propagation or reputation assessment have been adopted. However, these concepts do not solve the basic problem: A statistical approach is only of limited value when dealing with a concrete situation. In the presentation, examples from navigation will be used to illustrate the problem.
