English abstract:
An extensive data set of atmospheric observations was acquired at the Geodetic Observatory Wettzell during the Continuous VLBI Campaign 2017 (CONT17) carried out from November 28 through December 12, 2017. In situ measurements of temperature, humidity, pressure and wind speed at the surface were complemented by radiosonde ascents yielding meteorological parameters in different levels up to 20 km height as well as water vapor radiometer measurements at several elevations and azimuths obtaining slant tropospheric delays and Integrated water vapor (IWV). Additionally, the data set consists of tropospheric delays estimated from GNSS observations and comparative values from two different Numerical Weather Models (NWM).

This presentation shows comparisons of these data sets with parameters of the Vienna Mapping Functions 1 and 3 (VMF1 & VMF3), which are based on NWM data by the ECMWF. Thus, on the one hand, we compare the various tropospheric delays in zenith direction with each other. On the other hand, we combine the meteorological observations at the site with the radiosonde data in order to create local mapping functions, which can then be contrasted to VMF3 and VMF1 at Wettzell.
