Poster: XXIII ISPRS Congress, Prague, Czechia; 2016-07-12 - 2016-07-19; in: "International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences", International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, XLI-B1 (2016), ISSN: 1682-1750; 489 - 494.

English abstract:
The geometric quality analysis of Sentinel-2 data is based on comparison of Sentinel-2 imagery with reference data. The statistical parameter describing the geometrical relation between different images that cover the same area is calculated as the distance between corresponding details in two datasets. Line details are being detected in two datasets and their mismatch is being quantified. Study area which covers parts of Austria was available during Sentinel-2 commissioning phase, thus, investigation on this and one more example data will be given. First promising experimental results considering the geometric quality are described.
